Police arrest two for Musgrave murder

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Shakila Singh.

POLICE arrested two suspects yesterday in connection with the shocking murder of Musgrave resident, Shakila Singh on 29 February.

The murder of the former teacher had shocked and alarmed the Musgrave community, especially neighbours at her secure complex.

Major Thulani Zwane, provincial police spokesman told Berea Mail, “We can confirm that two suspects aged 24 and 25 were arrested for murder and will appear in court soon.”

Meanwhile a police source close to the case confirmed that the two men were foreign nationals and the victim’s phone was found in their possession.
