Bio Africa roots in Durban

DURBAN will host the Bio Africa Convention for the next three years. This was announced at a meeting of Exco last week.

More than 1 000 delegates are expected at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (Durban ICC) from 27 to 29 August.

The convention provides a platform for stakeholders where they can engage with key strategic role-players within the global community. Furthermore, the event will also contribute to economic activities within the province notably regarding tourism and student development.

Tourism remains an important sector with Durban being the third destination of choice for international tourists. The convention will also showcase the City’s attractions including local crafters from the township who will exhibit and sell their work to delegates during the Convention.
