Eden excels at Jaguar challenge

TWO Eden College teams who qualified for the national finals at the Jaguar Primary School Challenge which tested their engineering creativity in designing a home-built racing car, travelled to Johannesburg recently to represent their school and the province.

A total of 13 teams competed in a series of challenges which took place throughout the day.

The Eden College teams, Fast Intelligence and the X Team Racers, conducted themselves in a very professional manner.

The competition pitted the best teams from each province against each other. Eden was the only school to feature two teams in the finals, and X Team Racers and Fast Intelligence took first and second place respectively.

Making up the X Team Racers was Syun Bhaga, Kershav Hurpaul, Dipika Ramjugernath and Vongai Mubaiwa and the Fast Intelligence team included Karuna Rungan, Diya Shah, Mikhail Karrim and Veyakher Pather.
