THERE’S been an overwhelming wave of support from communities far and wide for Bongani Mtolo, a qualified young accountant, whose story of how he has battled to find work in the accounting field, was featured in Berea Mail this week.

The story reached thousands of people, many of whom shared his story on social media platforms. In many instances, people commented that they shared the same predicament and wished Bongani luck on finding suitable employment.

Speaking to Berea Mail today, a thrilled Bongani said he had received a call from Calvin and Family Group in Umhlanga, who had seen his article in Berea Mail.

“The company contacted me and offered me a job, I didn’t even have to go for an interview! I am very happy!” he said.

We will share Bongani’s story of triumph against the odds in a later update.
