Bumper indigenous plant fair

Aloe arborescens (Krantz Aloe) is one of the many attractive indigenous plants that will be available.

GARDENERS are looking forward to the bumper annual Botanical Society’s Indigenous Plant Fair on Friday 15 September to Sunday, 17 September from 9am to 5pm on both days. The plant fair is being held in partnership with the city’s Sustainable Living Exhibition at the Durban Exhibition Centre.

This year’s fair has a new twist, with invited nurseries selling a variety of indigenous plants at the back of the hall. There is free, secure parking at the Centrum opposite the hall and visitors can use the overhead pedestrian bridge. There will be easy drive-in access on the south side of the hall to load plants that have been purchased.
